At his core, Jim is still the 12-year-old kid who mowed lawns all summer to fund the development of the go-kart he designed and built that year.
He now brings a rich and unusually broad portfolio of product design experience to his work. With an emphasis on choosing the most effective process and technology for each stage in the development of a product, Jim has successfully worked with clients on consumer product, medical device, aerospace, and electronics packaging projects. He particularly likes the moment when that sketch on the whiteboard comes to life, and everyone in the room nods and smiles.
On weekends Jim SCUBA dives, crews for a hot air balloon, works in his wood shop, and trains as a volunteer firefighter.
